Company Extends Commitment to Community by Creating $100,000 Fund
Prophix Software today announced the creation of an annual $100,000 fund that will be devoted to tackling compelling social issues.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become widely adopted by many of Canada’s largest and most profitable businesses – so much so, that Maclean’s Magazine has begun publishing an annual list of Canada’s Top 50 Socially Responsible Corporations.

While Prophix has played an active part in its local community over the last five years, it is now joining the ranks of Canada’s leading companies by formally establishing a CSR fund that will be allocated towards supporting social programs and initiatives in Canada and/or around the globe.

Prophix CEO Paul Barber comments, “We have long held that ‘giving back’ to one’s community isn’t good enough. Rather, we believe that every company has a responsibility for finding opportunities and making a measurably positive impact on the world. We have built a corporate culture that lives and breathes this value.”

Among the social programs that Prophix has participated in include: serving breakfasts to over 500 school children in Peel, planning over 70 trees for Earth Day, donating 150 turkeys to families in need, and marching in support of Meagan’s Walk.
