Partnership with Extend Software of Brasil marks Prophix’s arrival in South American market

Prophix Software, a leading developer of corporate performance management (CPM) solutions, today announced the formation of Prophix South America through a joint partnership with Xpartner of Brasil, controller of Extend Software, a leading IT integrator and long-time partner.

Prophix CPM solutions automate and simplify the non-transactional processes that drive businesses such as budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting.

The joint venture with Xpartner of Brasil, controller of Extend Software allows for Prophix Software to act as the primary interface with South American customers and the South American market. Extend will be the primary implementation partner for Prophix South America.

The expansion into South America continues a robust period of growth for the Mississauga-based company, following the recent announcements of both Prophix Europe and Prophix UK. It also highlights Prophix’s particular success in South America, where the customer base has nearly doubled since 2010, including 13 new Brasilian customers in 2013.

Prophix South America will report through Prophix’s new global operations structure, headed by Alok Ajmera, Vice President, International Operations at Prophix. Alok is responsible for managing and growing the company’s UK and European operations and overseeing the development of the company’s international channel.
