Prophix, a global leader in developing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software, announced today that it received high scores in industry analyst evaluations of its software.  Studies released by Dresner Advisory Services and Gartner Inc. evaluate CPM application vendors with respect to a number of criteria.

Dresner Advisory Services – Wisdom of Crowds® Enterprise Planning Market Study

The Dresner study concluded: “A member of the Large Established Pure-Play market segment, Prophix is its leader.  It scored above peer and overall averages and is best in class for virtually all measure across sales, value, technology/product, technical support, consulting services and integrity.  It has a perfect recommend score.”

The study places Prophix in the Established Pure-Play category using 33 different criteria, on a five-point scale to evaluate companies.

The Dresner study found Prophix ratings strong in the following areas:

• Ease of customization
• Ease of administration
• Overall usability
• Value
• Scalability

Criteria covered includes: sales/acquisition experience, value for price paid, quality and usefulness of product, quality of technical support, and quality of consulting services, vendor recommendation and integrity to determine software supplier performance.

Gartner Inc. – Critical Capabilities for Corporate Performance Management Suites

According to Gartner, “This research analyzes how successfully the selected vendors support core CPM processes, as well as their strategic use and ease of adoption. This analysis differentiates the appropriateness of each vendor’s solution based on organizational size. This generally reflects use-case complexity, and the related need for more diverse functionality and application customization.”

In the Public/Private (Less than $250 Million) Use Case, 1 of 4 use cases included in the report, Prophix appeared in the upper quartile with a score of 3.92 on a 5.0 scale.

As part of this research, Gartner conducted a survey of organizations using CPM products from September 2014 to November 2014. The survey participants were customer references nominated by each of the 17 CPM suite vendors included in “Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Suites.” These surveyed customers were asked 20 specific questions about their experiences with their CPM vendors and solutions; Gartner obtained 449 full responses. In addition to the survey results, Critical Capabilities research is also the result of the significant consideration of extensive information evaluated from ongoing Gartner CPM reference visits and calls. These interactions serve as a critical component of vendor evaluation.
